The Samagi Jana Balawegaya parliamentary group has decided to support their MPs to follow degree porgrammes in universities.

The decision has been arrived at during the parliamentary group meeting held under the patronage of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.

The party will extend financial support to MPs pursuing their higher education under this programme.

In addition to this decision, the SJB also decided to call for applications from those willing to contest the Local Government election on the SJB ticket.
