JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake became the only Sri Lankan political party leader to publish photographs of his COVID19 vaccination process.

Dissanayake today obtained his COVID19 after registering in the process as an ordinary citizen.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa did not publish photographs of them receiving the vaccine. The large majority of Cabinet ministers also did not release the photographs of their vaccination process.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa refused to accept COVID19 vaccine and later got infected with the virus.
