Bribery Commission Calls For Bank Details And Financial Statements Related To Thiru Nadesan From Several Banks

The Bribery Commisison has informed President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa that it has called for bank details and reports linked to business Thirukumar Nadesan from several banks and financial institutions.

The Commission has also stated that they are currently in the process of analysing these reports.

This was stated in a report submitted to the President by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption regarding the progress of the investigation into the Pandora Papers, the Presidential Media Unit said in a statement.

Thirukumar Nadesan appeared before the Bribery Commission on the 8th and 15th of last month and made statements regarding the revelations.

On October 6, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa instructed the Bribery Commission to immediately launch an investigation into the Pandora leaflets and submit a report within a month.
