Colombo High Court Lifts Minister Gammanpila's Travel Ban For Three Months

Power and Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila has been granted leave to travel abroad for three months by Colombo High Court Judge Amal Ranaraja.

Gammanpila, who has been charged with embezzling money from an Australian national, was previously released on bail with a ban on leaving the country.

The judge granted Gammanpila's lawyer's request to lift his travel ban on two private trips to Australia and two official visits to the United States and Germany.
