Two people have been arrested by the Nittambuwa Police for throwing eggs at the vehicle of JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

They pelted stones at the vehicle while the JVP Leader for arriving for a political meeting in Gampaha.

They were apprehended by a group of JVP who were at the meeting and later handed over to the police.

One person has been identified as a person from the Minuwangoda area and the other is a resident of Gampola.
