The state-run Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation has sacked a presenter, Para Nileptha Ranasighe, over a Facebook post criticising the Government.

The SLRC operates under the purview of Minister Dullas Alahapperuma.

The presenter, in a Facebook post. confirmed that she has been asked to not to report to work.

She said her Facebook post was about the difficultie faced by the poeple in the country.
