The Police are now trying to obtain a court order to remove protestors from the Presidential Secretariat, informed sources said. 

The Police have requested the Colombo Additional Magistrate to issue a court order against 21 individuals who have been identified as organizers of the protests.

However, Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela has withdrawn himself from hearing the case. 

 A number of lawyers including the Sri Lanka Bar Association are appearing for the rights of the protestors.
