Youth who joined Aragalaya must be socialized through a program - Namal

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLLP) Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa said that there is innocent youth who got involved in the Aragalaya and it is unfair to remand them and file police reports which will in turn deprive them of opportunities to get a job.

The MP also mentioned that the people who set fire to his house, his wife's house and his father's house should be punished.

He also said that arresting and imprisoning the youth who joined the Aragalaya due to the trend is pointless.

Accordingly, he said that youths who have been misled into joining the Aragalaya struggle should be socialized through some program.

He said this while speaking to the media at the end of a meeting of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna held in Welimada.
