Southern Province Senior DIG Ajith Rohana has denied any links to recently arrested fraudster Thilini Priyamali after photographs of the duo posing together surfaced online. Pryamali had been photographed with many known persons at various events leading to them now being left in a highly uncomfortable situation with the public suspecting they too might have had a hand in her illegal activities. 

Ajith Rohana claimed he had posed for a group photograph with her at an event held at the Mulleriyawa Institute for Mental Health when he attended a program there. “I am in no way related to the accused woman and others,” he claimed. However, another photograph showing them in close proximity at what appears to be an honorary degree-granting function has also surfaced on social media platforms.
