Former AG Dappula De Livera To Be Questioned By TID Over His Remarks On Easter Sunday Attacks

Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Nihal Talduwa has announced that the former Attorney General, Dappula de Livera, has been requested to appear at the Terrorist Investigation Division on April 19th to provide a statement in relation to the Easter Sunday terror attack.

The former AG was summoned to inquire about a controversial statement he made before his retirement, where he claimed that there were masterminds behind the attack and a conspiracy involved.

The Minister of Judicial Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reform, Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa has told media that the Attorney General has informed the TID to record a statement from the former AG on the matter.
