A 41-year-old man from Pasarachchena has reportedly been snatched by a crocodile near the Crocodile Rock area in the Pottuvil police division.

The incident occurred yesterday evening (November 28) while the man was herding buffaloes across the Duuwa River. Following the attack, a complaint was filed at the Pottuvil Police Station.

Joint search operations by the police and officials from the Panama Navy Camp are currently underway to locate the missing individual.
