Nine ambassadors and one high commissioner formally presented their credentials to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat on Thursday (November 28).

The new envoys represent Burkina Faso, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, Spain, Congo, Guinea, and Kenya.

Among them, the ambassadors are stationed in New Delhi, India, while the high commissioner represents Kenya.

The list of envoys includes:

• Mr. Haris Hrle (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
• Mr. Elchin Huseynli (Azerbaijan)
• Mr. Vakhtang Jaoshvili (Georgia)
• Mr. Mikhail Kasko (Belarus)
• Mr. Vahagn Afyan (Armenia)
• Mr. Juan Antonio March Pujol (Spain)
• Mr. Raymond Serge Balé (Congo)
• Mr. Alassane Conte (Guinea)
• Mr. Munyiri Peter Maina (Kenya, High Commissioner).
