Belarus President Signs Draft Agreements On Extradition With Sri Lanka

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has approved draft agreements between the Republic of Belarus and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka concerning mutual legal assistance and extradition.

These draft agreements will serve as a basis for negotiation with the government of Sri Lanka.

The country's presidential press service said that the President signed the relevant decrees on 1 October, the Beylorussian news agency BelTA reported.

Meanwhile, the Justice Ministry has been authorized to conduct the negotiations and sign the agreements with Sri Lanka.
