Forcing Muslim Girls To Remove Attire - Janadipathi Vidyalaya Case Fixed For April 29

The Fundamental Rights petition regarding the alleged discrimination of two Muslim girls studying at the Janadipathi Balika VIdyalaya was fixed for support with notice issued to all parties including the Principal of the school, on the 29th of April by the Supreme Court yesterday.

The Fundamental Rights petition challenged the conduct of the Principal who had asked two girls to remove their punjabi dress and worship her.

The petition said that the actions of the Principal and staff of the school were in violation of article 10 to 14 of the Constitution.
