The Global Brand Awards 2026 and the SHE FOR THE NATION – Season 2 international awards ceremony were held in Colombo on August 29.
The main ceremony took place at Temple Trees, the official residence of the Prime Minister, with the participation of business leaders, professionals, women leaders and international brands representing various sectors.
Former President Maithripala Sirisena attended as the chief guest, while Indian actor Garuda Ram, known for his role in the KGF film series, participated as an international guest.
During the ceremony, Sirisena was honoured with the title “President of the Happiest Era.”
