Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has reportedly been named as the fourth accused in a case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court in connection with the controversial Krrish deal.

The Bribery Commission filed the case over allegations of financial irregularities and bribery involving Krrish, a prominent Indian real estate development company.

Investigations and court proceedings are ongoing. Meanwhile, the Bribery Commission has already recorded a statement from Rajapaksa, who remains in remand custody, after obtaining permission from the court.
