SINGER has been recognised as Sri Lanka’s Fastest-Growing Brand and the country’s Most Valuable Retail (General) Brand in Brand Finance’s ranking of Sri Lanka’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands for 2026.

The company climbed three positions to rank 14th overall, with a brand value of Rs. 13.888 billion and an AAA- brand rating.

SINGER Group Managing Director Mahesh Wijewardene said the recognition reflected the trust customers had placed in the brand over generations.

“Being recognised both as Sri Lanka’s Fastest-Growing Brand and the Most Valuable Retail (General) Brand is particularly significant as we continue to expand into new categories and strengthen our core business,” he said.

Established 149 years ago as a sewing-machine brand, SINGER has since expanded into home appliances, consumer electronics, smartphones, light automobiles, agriculture, connectivity, renewable energy, manufacturing and financial solutions.

The company said it was also investing significantly in digital transformation, including omnichannel retailing, AI-driven customer engagement and the wider use of data in marketing and customer experience.

SINGER Sri Lanka Marketing Director Janmesh Antony said the company’s continued relevance depended on understanding changing customer needs while preserving the trust, accessibility, islandwide reach and dependable service that had supported the brand for nearly 150 years.

Brand Finance evaluates brands using a globally standardised methodology that considers financial performance, brand strength and market recognition.
