Sri Lankan entrepreneur and marketing leader Arjun Jeger, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of DC Group, has been named to Campaign Asia’s prestigious 40 Under 40 Class of 2026, recognising emerging leaders shaping the future of marketing, media and communications across the Asia-Pacific region.

Jeger was selected among a group of industry leaders from 14 markets across the region and was recognised for his business achievements, innovation and contributions to the wider communications industry.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for Jeger, who founded Digital Content in 2017 with limited savings and no external investment. The company has since evolved into DC Group, one of Sri Lanka’s largest independent creative networks, employing more than 150 professionals across nine specialised businesses spanning creative services, production, influencer marketing, performance media, martech, media and live experiences.

The company’s growth came amid several major challenges, including the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks, the COVID-19 pandemic and Sri Lanka’s economic crisis in 2022. According to the company, it continued to expand throughout these periods while maintaining its commitments to employees and partners.

Over the past year, DC Group recorded 31% growth and expanded into East Africa through the launch of DC International in Nairobi. The group also established an artificial intelligence-focused agency aimed at helping clients adapt to emerging changes in the marketing industry.

Within the organisation, Jeger introduced an ownership-driven leadership model that allows senior specialists to lead business verticals with equity participation. The company said the approach has strengthened accountability, improved retention and promoted a more inclusive leadership culture. Women currently make up half of the group’s workforce and hold a significant share of leadership positions.

Beyond his corporate role, Jeger serves as President of the Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka, where he has supported industry development initiatives, including professional networking programmes and diversity-focused projects.

Commenting on the recognition, Jeger said the achievement reflected the efforts of everyone who believed a world-class agency could be built from Sri Lanka despite difficult circumstances.

“I hope this serves as a reminder that where we start doesn’t determine how far we can go, and that talent from Sri Lanka can compete and win on any stage in the world,” he said.
