TECNO launches CAMON 50 Pro in Sri Lanka with AI-powered camera features

TECNO has launched its latest smartphone, the CAMON 50 Pro, in Sri Lanka, introducing a range of AI-powered photography features including AI 60X Super Zoom, SuperZoom FlashSnap and underwater photography capabilities.

The company said the CAMON 50 Pro is designed for users seeking advanced smartphone photography, featuring SuperZoom FlashSnap technology to capture fast-moving subjects with reduced blur. The device also includes AI Auto Zoom, which automatically tracks people and pets, while Best Moment 2.0 selects the optimal frame.

The smartphone is equipped with AI 60X Super Zoom, enabling users to capture distant subjects with enhanced clarity, and introduces Aqua Mode for underwater photography. It also carries IP68/IP69K water and dust resistance ratings.

Speaking at the launch, TECNO Sri Lanka CEO Muhammad Shahzeb Ather said the CAMON 50 Pro reflects the company’s commitment to combining advanced camera technology, artificial intelligence and premium design to make innovative technology more accessible to consumers.

The device features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C Ultra Night Camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide camera for improved photography in various lighting conditions.

The CAMON 50 Pro also sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor, the smartphone offers up to 16GB RAM, including extended RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Available in Moonshadow Black, Nebula Titanium and Malachite Green, the TECNO CAMON 50 Pro is now on sale through authorised TECNO retailers and leading mobile stores across Sri Lanka at a retail price of Rs. 159,999.
