The Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today (17) granted permission to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) to detain Sampath Manamperi for seven days for questioning.
Manamperi is accused of concealing two containers of raw materials allegedly used in the production of the drug ‘Ice,’ reportedly linked to underworld figure Kehelbaddara Padme. The two containers were recently discovered in Middeniya.
Manamperi surrendered to the Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court earlier today.
