Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne was admitted to a private hospital due to a heart attack this afternoon.

He will be flown to Singapore tonight for further treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

Meanwhile, his media secretary denied that the Minister had any serious health issue.
