Two suspects escaped from custody at Kaduwela Magistrate's Court today during the chaos created by the shooting incident in the morning.

A suspect was injured when he was shot at the court premises this morning. The shooter escaped and the injured person was rushed to the hospital.

Two suspects, Mabulage Dinith Milan and Chaminda Buddhika, both from Dedigamuwa, escaped during the chaos. They were suspects of a murder case, Police said.

Search operations have been launched to locate the two suspects who escaped and the shooter.
