Saman Jayalath, the suspect of the murder of a five-year-old in Kotadeniyawa, was remanded further till November 16 by the Minuwangoda Magistrate.

Jayalath, the elder brother of Dunesh Priyashantha alias 'Kondaya', was arrested by Police on October 3 for the rape and murder of the girl on the night of September 11.

DNA tests conducted confirmed matched the suspect with the crime scene, while all others arrested earlier were released on DNA evidence.
