Former Minister Mervyn Silva stated that he was contemplating a return to politics, possibly from Tissamaharama.

Speaking to media yesterday in Tissamaharama, Silva said that he was yet to decide on a suitable political party.

He made this observation when media personnel inquired if he was planning to re-enter politics from Tissamaharama.

Silva, originally from Beliatta, started his politics from the Hambantota District, before moving on to Kelaniya.
