Over 664,715 students are due to sit for the GCE (Ordinary Level) examination to be held from December 8 to 17.

The Examinations Department said that cheating at the exam will be dealt with severely. Accordingly, those who use mobile phones, notes or other prohibited material and those who help others in the exam could face severe penalties.

Their results could even be suspended, the Department said.
