The Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division has summoned the Former Governer of Central Bank, Ajith Nivard Cabraal and UPFA Johnston Fernando today.

Cabraal was summoned to record a statement regarding an irregularity of tender process and Fernando was questioned over a complaint regarding Mahapola lottery.

According to the complaint against Fernando, the alleged financial irregularity has taken place when the Mahapola Lottery was handed over to a Malaysian, Police Media Unit said.
