The expenditure head of Western Province Ministry of Health was voted down today.
The expenditure head received 23 votes in favour and 45 votes against it.
UNP supported the expenditure head tabled by Western Province Minister and Media Spokesperson of the Jathika Hela Urumaya Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe. Members of UPFA, JVP and Democratic Party voted against it.
It was said to be the first time of the history in Western Province that expenditure head was voted down.
