Western Province Chief Minister Isura Devapriya took oaths in the ministerial portfolios which Nishantha Warnasinghe of Jathika Hela Urumaya held.

PC Minister Warnasinghe’s expenditure heads were voted down recently by the Western Provincial Council.

Therefore, the portfolios of Western Health, Indigenous Medicine, Social Welfare, Probation and Child Care, the Ministry of Women's Affairs are now controlled under Devapriya.
