The Embilipitiya Additional Magistrate today ordered the arrest of all suspected police personnel regarding the death of a youth in the area following a clash earlier this month.

The Magistrate gave this direction after considering a statement by the widow of Sumith Prasanna Jayawardena, who died following the clash with the police.

Police had earlier claimed that the youth jumped off a window of the building, critically injuring him. He succumbed to his injuries several days later.
