The Rajapaksa family should reveal the source of the initial capital of Rs 234 million for Carlton Sports Network, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said.

Speaking at an event in Ambalantota in the Hambantota District yesterday, Dissanayake rejected the notion that the arrest of Yoshitha Rajapaksa was an act of political victimization. Investigations have revealed that Yoshitha Rajapaksa was effectively the head of CSN, he added.

"If the Rajapaksas can explain how the money was raised to launch CSN, the case will be closed" Dissanayake claimed.

He also commented on the politicians who are visiting Yoshitha Rajapaksa in prison. "They are alarmed since most of them should also be inside the prison" Dissanayake claimed.

The JVP leader accused the government of not taking action against the other wrongdoers.
