The Port Users' Collective Union launched a token strike today against the increase in prices inside the port.

Around 12,000 workers are participating in the strike at Colombo Harbour.

Employees handling containers, lorry drivers and assistants, wharf representatives, clerks and sub contractors are among those who take part in the strike.
