Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse a protest by unemployed graduates near the Lotus Road in Fort.

They had started a protest at 12.30 p.m. near Fort Railway Station and then marched towards the Lotus Roundabout.

Heavy traffic was reported from the area due to the protest.
