Secretary of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) Lacille de Silva was removed with immediate effect.

De Silva was the Secretary since the establishment of the commission in 2015.

The mandate of the commission was extended recently.
