LiveEvents.LK which organized the Enrique in Sri Lanka concert in Colombo was issued notice by Colombo District Court to appear in court on April 26 over petitions filed by a lawyer and his wife.

In December 2015, Attorney at Law Nishan Premathiratne, sent a Letter of Demand to LiveEvents.LK, demanding Rs 22 million as damages for the loss,damage,mental distress and injury caused to him and his wife during the 'Enrique Iglesias in Colombo' concert held on December 20, 2015. The lawyer and his wife later filed legal action with the District Court seeking damages from the company.

They have also requested an injunction order against the company.

Live Events is managed by top radio DJ Shaq who is also the Chief Executive Officer, along with Kumar Sangakkara (Board Director) and Mahela Jayawardene (Board Director).
