A prison bus transporting remand prisoners was shot at in Dematagoda a short while ago.

'Dematagoda Chaminda', a suspect connected to killing of Baratha Lakshman Premachandra, was believed to be the target of the shooting.

He was injured in the shooting and was admitted to Colombo National Hospital. He was sent for an emergency surgery immediately, hospital sources said.
