Fourteen Royal College Students Arrested For Unlawful Entry Into Girls' School

Fourteen students of Royal College, Colombo, were arrested by Kollupitiya Police and produced before Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage following their unlawful entry into Bishop's College Colombo 3 this morning.

The students were produced on the charge of criminal trespass after being members of an unlawful assembly.

They were severely warned and released on surety bails and the Magistrate ordered that their parents should be the sureties.

Meanwhile the school authorities were reprimanded for allowing students venture out of the school premises during the school hours.
