President Maithripala Sirisena met the members of the Sri Lankan T20 Cricket Team, prior to their departure for India to participate in the Twenty-Twenty World Cup tournament.

The theme of the Sri Lanka Cricket Team for this tournament is ‘One Team – One Nation’. Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Thilanga Sumathipala pinned its batch on President Sirisena.

Sri Lanka, the reigning T20 Worlc Champions, will kick off its title defence on March 17.
