Final rites of the Venerable Galagama Sri Attadassi Thera, the late Chief Prelate of the Asgiri Chapter, will be held on March 13 at Police Grounds, Kandy.

He passed away last night following a fall in the bathroom of the temple the same afternoon.

Attadassi Thera was the 21st Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter of Siyam Nikaya. He was appointed Mahanayake in May 2015.
