Dhammika Ranatunga Threatens Media Near Colombo High Court (VIDEO)

Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Dhammika Ranatunga threatened media outside the Colombo High Court when his brother Nishantha Ranatunga's bail application was to be heard.

He threatened a photojournalist who was taking video footage outside the court as to how he could record videos.

Ranatunga then captured a photograph of the journalist and threatened him saying, "we'll take care of this later"

The photojournalist later said that he will be lodging a complaint over the matter.

Meanwhile, Nishantha Ranatunga's lawyers told the journalists that his side is ready to make a public apology over the incident.

Dhammika Ranatunga is a brother of Ports and Shipping Minister Arjuna Ranatunga, a key campaigner for good governance.
