Power generation at the Norochcholai Power Plant could be restarted later today, Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy said.

Therefore, the Ministry said that power supply could be restored in the island by tomorrow.

The CEB yesterday announced a seven and a half hour power cut for the island for today and tomorrow.
