UPFA MP Ranjith Zoysa said that all but two 'Joint Opposition' MPs, including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, will attend the rally to be held tomorrow at the Hyde Park in Colombo.

Speaking to Asian Mirror, Zoysa also said that the rally will also attract the participation of the provincial and local councilors who support the Joint Opposition.

Zoysa spoke of a letter sent to SLFP MPs by the party, forbidding them from taking part in meetings organized by other groups. However, it does not have any effect on the meeting tomorrow, he maintained.

The Joint Opposition, which supports former President Rajapaksa, has the support of 51 MPs in Parliament.
