The two children who were reported missing in Singapore by their mother have returned to Sri Lanka with their father, the mother confirmed last evening.

"Dear Friends , Singapore Police and Srilanka immigration confirmed both kids secretly taken/ kidnapped by Amaru their Father without the knowledge of any authorities or me / kids Mother to Srilanka with their home clothes when a custody case going on in Singapore courts" the mother, Samantha Athalage, said on Facebook.

Their were claims on social media earlier yesterday that the children were safe in Sri Lanka. However, the mother's confirmation came only last evening.
