A suicide vest and C4 explosives were discovered from a house in Chavakachcheri in Jaffna District, police sources said.

The police raid has been conducted over a tip off that the owner of the house was concealing drugs.

The items discovered include 12kg of TNT and around 100 9mm bullets.

The owner of the house has fled the area.
