The front-runners for the post of IGP, Senior DIGs S.M. Wickramasinghe and Pujith Jayasundera have met the Prime Minister this morning at the Temple Trees.

They have met the Prime Minister to wish him for the Avurudu.

Three names have been forwarded to the Constitutional Council for the post of IGP. The CC will meet this afternoon to interview the prospective candidates.
