Anamaduwe Dhammadassi Thera was selected by the Asgiriya Chapter Sangha Sabhava yesterday as the new Anunayake Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siyam Nikaya.

He was the former registrar of the Asgiriya Chapter.

He is the Chief Incumbent of the Athkanda Temple, Kurunegala.

Meanwhile, Urulawatte Dhammarakkhitha Thera was appointed as the Chief Incumbent of Muthiyanganaya Temple.
