Sri Lankan Monk Mugunwela Anuruddha Thera Appointed Chairman Of World Theravadi Conference

Sri Lankan Buddhist monk Mugunuwela Anuruddha Thera was appointed as the Chairman of the World Theravadi Buddhist Sangha Conference.

The conference began on May 9 in Colombo and monks of 12 countries take part in the gathering.

Thailand's Nanthadhammo Thera was appointed as the Secretary of the conference while Myanmar's Indrayana Thera was appointed as the Treasurer.

Khemadhammo Thera from the Netherlands was appointed Deputy Secretary and Bunkan Thera from Laos was appointed Deputy Chairman.
