Former Secretary, and the Treasurer to Basil Rajapaksa, Willie Gamage and Ariyaratne Dahanayake, were given a conditional bail.

They were arrested in connection with an unlawful deal with regard to a property owned by Basil Rajapaksa at Oruthota, Gampaha.

Gampaha Additional Magistrate Lalith Kannangara ordered the two to pay Rs 50000 cash bail and two sureties of Rs 4 million each. The Magistrate then ordered them to submit their passports to court.

The court also ordered them to report to the FCID on the last day of every month.

Gamage and Dahanayake were arrested by the FCID earlier today.
