The number of bodies recovered from the Samasara Hill in Aranayake has risen to 27.

Two bodies were recovered yesterday.

More than one hundred people are still missing from the May 17 landslide at Samasara Hill. Search operations are being continued.

Meanwhile, the search operations for victims in Bulathkohupitiya have ended. Sixteen people died in the Bulathkohupitiya landslide.

More than 100 people remain missing in the Aranayake landslide.
