Government Relents On Post-internship Appointments: GMOA

The Government Medical Officers' Association said that the Health Ministry has relented on the post-internship appointments and expressed willingness to prepare the list again.

The GMOA held a discussion with the Health Minister and ministry officials on the matter yesterday.

Meanwhile, the GMOA said that the list will be prepared again today by the ministry and the GMOA.

The GMOA warned the government that it will take trade union action if the government fails to fulfill its promises.

On May 31, the GMOA held a token strike in most districts over the matter.
