Former Magistrate Thilina Gamage appeared at the Gangodawila Magistrate's Court a short while ago.

The anticipatory bail application filed by Gamage will be taken up for consideration this afternoon.

Gamage has been named a suspect by the CID for keeping an elephant calf in his possession without a valid license. He filed the bail application requesting an order to grant him bail in the event of his arrest by the CID.
